Contest: Word Play
What's in a name? You tell us. Take a look at the titles of our Global Lens 2010 films, playing soon on Virgin America airlines:
Now, let your imagination run wild and use these titles to create a story, poem, mini-screenplay or essay! Your submission can be about anything, and you can incorporate the titles any way you like. But here's the catch: You can't separate the words of any title (i.e. you can write "We're all ordinary people," but not "The people in this room are so ordinary"). Your submission must be between 350-1000 words.
Whether it's funny, dramatic or totally off-the-wall, send us your submission by June 1st, 2010, along with a completed application, and you could be the lucky winner of two roundtrip tickets to any Virgin America airlines destination in the U.S.!
EXTRA CREDIT: Has this word scramble got you all mixed up? Put things back in place by matching the images below with their corresponding film title (use the list above!). The winner of the extra credit challenge will receive an advance DVD copy of Masquerades, a film from our Global Lens 2010 series that is still in theaters!
