Individual donations play an important role in supporting The Global Film Initiative's four major programs. The Initiative was founded in 2002 to introduce American audiences to remarkable stories told in every corner of the world. Through our four programs, we support and promote the work of filmmaking in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
